David Fisher

David is the founder, director and first photographer at Fisher Studios. Born in Australia and emigrating to the UK in his early 20s, David was originally headed for Scotland, but settled for the dreaming spires of Oxford due to its proximity to London and other distractions en route.

David commenced his studies in photography at James Cook University in North Queensland in 1990, the year Adobe Photoshop 1.0 was released, experiencing both the final decade of the analogue era and the beginnings of digital.

David is a keen rower and member of the City of Oxford Rowing Club.

Kinga Lubowiecka

Kinga is an artist and photographer, as well as a graduate of the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford. Before joining Fisher Studios, Kinga successfully ran her own commercial photography start-up, covering events and corporate photography shoots in the UK (Oxford) and Poland (Krakow and Warsaw).

In addition to her commercial work, Kinga regularly exhibits her art photography. She has featured in shows internationally – namely at the 54th Venice Biennale and the Starter Gallery in Warsaw. Her personal work lies within the genre of still-life photography and abstraction. She creates carefully constructed images, often inspired by her love of sports, including tennis, running, skiing, cycling and volleyball.

Kinga speaks 5 languages including English (1st language), Polish, German, French and Italian. She has also developed a basic understanding of Australian from David, but has proven unable to master the spoken word so far.

Photographing people is a mainstay of our business and we pride ourselves on ensuring that all our clients enjoy the process, even when they’re least expecting to. Whether in our studio or on location, we believe in portraying people in their best light.

We cover a wide range of commercial and corporate events including lectures, debates, dinners, balls, conventions, outdoor events, VIP / royal visits, and guest speaker events. We can also provide a team of photographers if required, including on site post-production.

Our science, engineering and technology portfolio features work for research-based organisations, academic departments and companies, which are based in Oxfordshire. Our proximity to universities and hospitals puts us in the heart of the country’s research community.

Interiors and architectural photography is one of our founding disciplines. We work with architects, interior designers, property developers and lettings agencies, creating images which are beautifully lit and distortion free, using the latest wide angle and tilt/shift lenses.

Commercial photography is our speciality. Our images are used to sell products and services via websites, social media, brochures, newspapers and magazines. Our commercial portfolio includes corporate, industrial, press and public relations (PR) photography.

Our product photography is shot either in our Oxford Studio, or on location. Whether you’re looking for simple pack shots on white backgrounds or products in situ using models, no product is too big or too small. We can provide as little or as much retouching as you require.

We’ve produced photography for local theatre companies, dance groups and schools for over 15 years and use specialist cameras and lenses which perform extremely well in low light. This ensures images are captured discretely with all the clarity and magic of the performance.

Our modern Oxford studio is the ideal place for people and small product based commissions. We’re very central, situated between Cowley and Iffley road, and a 5 minute walk from the Plain roundabout.

Sorry, we don’t have any vacancies just now.

We’re always on the look out for exception people to join our team, so even if your ideal job is not listed now, drop us a note with your CV, telling us why you’d be a great fit at Fisher Studios.
